The New Year begins

Yesterday was my first back to work after the Christmas break. I was never one of those kids who, over summer break would say "I'm ready to go back to school!" So needless to say, I wasn't to thrilled to return to work either. I also had to look over my employee review summary. There were a few things I disagreed with, and although they were minor, by the time I was done my deoderant had completely broken down. I'm not sure why I felt it was so important to read over it on a day I was already feeling "ugh"-ish. Silly Danielle.

In other subjects, my husband's last day of work was yesterday. He sent me a link to a "job posting" which was really an ad for bartending school. Strangely, we both felt like this is something he might enjoy, despite his experience being mostly in the tech industry. So today is his first day of classes. He actually got $300 off the regular tuition, which doesn't really bode well for the quality of his upcoming education, but maybe it'll all work out?

Let's all think positively! In fact, I think that will be a New Years resolution.
